Foodie Friday: Banana, Bread & Custard Pud

banana-bread-custard-pud(Serves 4)

Ingredients:
4 slices bread
4 tsp strawberry jam
2 bananas, sliced
1 x 500g carton ready to serve custard
1 tbsp soft dark brown sugar

Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 170C, fan 160C, gas 3. Spread the bread with the jam, then cut into quarters.
2. Layer the bread triangles in a small baking dish, alternating with slices of banana, and positioned point upwards. Pour over the custard and cook in the oven for around 20-25 minutes.
3. Once cooked, sprinkle with the sugar and grill for a further 2 minutes until golden.
